This was reported by the Investment Agency of Moldova, noting the success of the company Terroir de l’Est, founded by entrepreneur Liviu Lupanciuc. The company participated in the exhibition with the support of the Buy Diaspora program.
Terroir de l’Est promotes Moldovan goods on the French market. It is currently the official distributor of a number of brands from Moldova, including Nectar Lux, Be Sweet, EFruct and Mov Herbs.
“We want to demonstrate that our origin is not a disadvantage for us, we have a much better product. Yes, we are from far away, yes, Moldova is a small country, but we have a rich trove of resources,” said Liviu Lupanciuc, the owner of the company.
The Investment Agency stresses that the Buy Diaspora program remains one of the key instruments of export support. Currently, 14 projects are being implemented within the program, which allow Diaspora entrepreneurs to act as trade representatives of Moldovan products on international markets.
The program is implemented by the Investment Agency in partnership with UNDP in Moldova, with financial support from the UN Migration Program.
