FinComBank’s ownership structure is changing

A block of shares in Banca de Finanțe și Comerț S.A. (FinComBank), representing nearly 1% of the bank’s capital, was sold on the Moldovan Stock Exchange for more than 11 million lei.

According to stock exchange data, 13,000 shares were sold in three interactive buy-sell transactions, representing 0.98% of the share capital of Banca de Finanțe și Comerț S.A. The price per share was set at 850 lei, and the total value of the transactions reached 11.05 million lei.

This transaction is part of a series of significant trades involving shares of this financial institution that have taken place this year. On June 25, 8,630 shares were sold on the Moldovan Stock Exchange in two transactions for a total of 7.33 million lei at a price of 850 lei per share.

The largest transaction involving the bank’s securities this year took place in early March. As a result of direct negotiations, a purchase and sale agreement was concluded for a block of 17,600 shares, equivalent to 1.33% of the bank’s share capital. The transaction value was 14.96 million lei, with a price of 850 lei per share.

At this time, publicly available information does not identify the seller and buyer involved in this transaction. Data published by the bank show that over the past year, CONTINENT SRL has increased its stake in SA “Banca de Finanțe și Comerț” by approximately 5 percentage points, reaching 14% of the financial institution’s shares.
