These are the findings of a Gallup poll, according to RBC. At the same time, most respondents believe that a quick end to the conflict is unlikely.
As Gallup notes, the poll results continue the trend from 2025, when the number of Ukrainians wanting an end to the conflict and negotiations with Russia has been growing, while support for continuing military operations has been declining.
The company also points out that in 2022, 73% of Ukrainian respondents supported continuing the conflict, while 22% favored ending it as soon as possible through negotiations.
“Since 2024, an increasing number of Ukrainians have been in favor of ending the conflict through negotiations rather than continuing the fight,” RBC quotes the survey’s authors as saying.
