A missile alert has been issued in the Moscow Region

A missile alert was issued in the Moscow Region on June 25. The regional headquarters of Russia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations issued the alert via the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry’s emergency notification system and a number of official information channels.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, residents of the region are advised to stay indoors and stay away from windows. Those who were outdoors or on public transportation are advised to take shelter in sturdy buildings, underground walkways, or parking garages.

Emergency service reports also indicate possible brief disruptions to mobile internet and communication services. Additionally, residents are reminded not to take photos or videos of air defense systems in operation and to immediately report any possible drone debris.

According to regional and federal media reports, similar warnings may have been issued in other regions of Russia during the same period.

At the time of publication, emergency services had not reported any damage or casualties. Information regarding possible consequences is being clarified.
