
The project is being implemented with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
The contract was signed with the Serbian company “Atrikod d.o.o.,” which was selected as the winner of an international tender conducted in accordance with EBRD procedures.
The new equipment includes modern specialized machines for flushing and cleaning, vehicles and equipment for field work, equipment for video inspection of pipelines, detectors for identifying blockages and malfunctions, protective gear, and specialized tools.
Staff training is also planned.
At the same time, the city administration will continue to strengthen the technical infrastructure of municipal enterprises.
As part of the project, a procurement process has been launched for four dump trucks to transport sludge, sediment, waste, and other materials generated as a result of storm sewer cleaning work.
As a reminder, the project includes the design and implementation of works to reinforce the banks of the Byk River and provide flood protection, the modernization of existing sewer networks, and the realignment of the riverbed over a 7.6 km stretch.
It is financed by a loan and a grant from the EBRD; the budget totals approximately 21 million euros, of which 4 million euros is a grant.
