This is stated in a post on the CNIR Facebook page.
The contract term is 46 months, of which 10 months are allocated for the design phase and 36 months for the execution of the work, and the project involves the construction of a 2.77-kilometer section of highway between the Golești interchange and the bridge over the Prut River connecting Ungheni in Romania and Moldova, including work already at an advanced stage.
On Section 4, which is 15.5 kilometers long, 14 bridges and overpasses, 2 tunnels (the tunnel at the 83rd kilometer is 1,760 meters long), and 2 interchanges will be built.
“The A8 Motorway is not just infrastructure, but a concrete opportunity that brings Europe closer to all Romanians, including those outside the EU,” say CNIR representatives.
