Moldova’s agri-food sector sets the research agenda

Priorities for research, innovation, and knowledge transfer in agriculture were discussed during a meeting organized at the National Institute for Applied Research in Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine (INCAAMV) under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry (MAIA).

Representatives from professional and business associations, as well as development partners, took part in the discussion. The parties presented their views and proposals regarding the priorities of the agri-food sector and research topics of practical relevance to its modernization.

The meeting also addressed the institutional development of INCAAMV, the institute’s strategic directions, and cooperation among researchers, farmers, professional associations, the business community, and development partners.
