ANSA: unhealthy greens and surrogate cheese again

As a result of control at the border points, inspectors of the National Agency for Food Safety (ANSA) revealed substandard goods: a batch of buckwheat (132 kg), two batches of dill and parsley (26 tons), three batches of surrogate cheese (about 1.5 tons).

Laboratory analyses showed exceeding the maximum permissible residues of pesticides – chlorpyrifos and penconazole (greens), glyphosate (buckwheat), as well as the presence of trans-isomers of unsaturated fatty acids (“products containing vegetable proteins and fats”). The goods were destroyed.

ANSA, in its report on the matter, once again emphasized its “zero tolerance for food products that do not meet safety requirements”.
