This is reported by the TASS news agency. Answering his correspondent’s question about the possibility of a visit to Russia in 2026, the US chief of staff said, “It can [happen]. I will do whatever is necessary [for a settlement in Ukraine]. And I think we will come to a settlement between Russia and Ukraine” (TASS quote).
At the same time, Trump did not forget to mention once again that he “has already achieved the settlement of eight conflicts.”
According to the American leader, the settlement in Ukraine is “getting closer and closer.”
