US to allocate $8 mln to Moldova for cybersecurity

The United States will provide $8 million for projects to strengthen Moldova's cybersecurity.

At the Cybersecurity Forum in Moldova, U.S. Charge d’Affaires Nick Petrovich announced that the United States will allocate $8 million dollars to support Moldova’s cybersecurity over the next four years.

This partnership under the #AmericaFirst initiative promotes the security of both Americans and Moldovans by helping Moldova identify and prevent cyber threats affecting regional and global stability.

The program provides specialized training, cyber risk assessments, critical tools and equipment, and support for critical infrastructure protection.
