Dempsey has more than 15 years of experience with MSD, having held leadership positions in Ireland, Croatia and Slovenia, as well as being part of the South East Europe regional leadership team. Until recently, he served as MSD’s Managing Director for Croatia and Slovenia. His areas of expertise include business management, strategic development, market access, organizational transformation and commercial operations.
He has also been actively involved in HPV prevention initiatives in Ireland and Croatia.
In his new role, Dempsey’s priorities will be to strengthen MSD’s leadership in oncology and vaccines, expand the cardiometabolic therapeutic area and support access to innovation. He has pledged to accelerate patient access to innovative solutions through collaboration with local teams, health authorities and patient communities.
Conor Dempsey holds a BA from Trinity College and an MSc from Smurfit Business School, where he specialized in marketing.
