Through FCA, farmers received grants worth 6.83 mln lei in April

Between the launch in March 2025 and April 2026, 483 micro and small enterprise projects in the agricultural sector have been financed under the Farm Credit Line (FCA) program.

According to the Ministry of Finance, of these, 75 projects were approved in April 2026.

The total amount of funds re-credited within the program amounted to 448.38 million lei, including 65.74 million lei granted in April. At the same time, the grant component of these loans amounts to 51.05 million lei, of which 6.83 million lei were disbursed in April.

How is the money distributed?

Most of the financed projects were aimed at purchasing equipment for traditional and conservative agriculture, equipment for post-harvest processing, as well as at financing working capital in agriculture.

Of the total number of projects approved, 237 were implemented in the north, 168 in the center and 78 in the south.

There are 124.27 million lei left for loans and 8.92 million lei for grants to finance projects under the program in 2026.

From April 2026, the FCA program includes a new component – “Independent Working Capital in Agriculture”, which provides financing of up to 500 thousand lei per beneficiary.

The program provides financing in Moldovan lei with a fixed rate of 5.1% per annum for final beneficiaries. It is implemented by OGPAE through partner financial institutions.
