The launch of the contest for grant support for business start-up and development in Moldova was announced by the Entrepreneurship Development Organization.
This instrument of financial non-repayable support, intended for the development of the SME sector under the Crestem IMM program, is implemented by the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization with the support of the Moldovan Government and development partners.
The new tool is aimed at young entrepreneurs and migrants. The competition is scheduled to start on May 18, 2026. Its key advantage is the low own contribution (only 30% – for businesses that will operate outside the municipality of Chisinau).
This measure aims to stimulate regional economic development, job creation and realization of entrepreneurial potential at the national level.
Within the framework of the competition, 120 applications for funding will be accepted, of which 65 are intended to support young entrepreneurs and 55 for migrant business initiatives.
The competition is open until the set number of applications is reached.
Funds are allocated from the state budget as well as from EU funds under the Reform Agenda.
