According to the National Bureau of Statistics, for structural elements, construction work increased in 2025 compared to 2024 as a result of growth:

– the volume of capital repairs by 25.8%;

– the volume of maintenance and current repair works by 32%;

– the volume of new construction by 36.8%;

– volume of other construction works (demolition, pre-construction land development, etc.) by 12.8%.

In terms of construction projects in 2025 compared to 2024, there was an increase in residential construction by 14.5%, in engineering and construction works by 35.6%, in non-residential buildings by 42.8%.

Growth slowed slightly toward the end of the year. In the fourth quarter of 2025, volumes increased by 24.3% compared to the fourth quarter of 2024 (which is still a very good performance). The slowdown in construction may have been influenced by the extreme weather conditions last December.
