Strnad is 33 years old and inherited the company from his father. He became CEO at the age of 21, and five years later became the owner of the company.
CSG held its initial public offering on Friday, January 23. Investors valued the asset at 25 billion euros, during the trading process, the growth of shares from the offering price reached 32%.
Czechoslovak Group is among the leading European manufacturers of artillery ammunition. The company supplies its products to NATO countries and Ukraine. It is also actively expanding its division for the production and modernization of heavy military equipment, including artillery, armored vehicles and trucks.
The company employs 14,000 people. In the first three quarters of last year (last reported as of January), its revenue grew 82% year-on-year to 4.8 billion euros.
In May 2025, Strnada was named the richest man in Eastern Europe (outside Russia). At that time, his net worth was $17.1 billion.
According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, he ranks third on the list of the richest people on the planet under 40 years old. Strnad is second only to Lucas Walton of the family of owners of retailer Walmart Inc. S. ($49 billion), and the son of Red Bull founder Mark Mateschitz ($38.4 billion).
