The first step was the official launch of the integrated state portal EVO on Thursday, January 22. The site evo.gov.md becomes a single digital “window” for interaction with the state, designed for citizens, entrepreneurs and the diaspora.
The portal has already integrated 620 state services, of which 396 are available fully online. Citizens can obtain income and debt-free certificates, extracts from registers, civil status acts, apostilize documents and order cadastral services. For businesses, EVO simplifies the processing of declarations, customs notifications, transport permits, sanitary certificates and other official procedures.
The portal integrates key digital services: EVOSign digital signature, MPass authentication, MPay online payments, MNotify official notifications, as well as a platform for e-service developers (egov4dev) and a platform for creating new services (PDSE).
Michelle Iliev, State Secretary of the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization, said, “The innovation is to make everything work simply and conveniently. The evo.gov.md portal does just that. And this is only the beginning of 2026. Moldova will be among the first countries that will implement digital wallet and remote identification, so that every entrepreneur and citizen will have a digital account anywhere in Europe”.
The project was developed by the e-Government Agency with the support of the Innovate Moldova program, financed by Sweden and the UK, and implemented by the Moldova Development Fund. Direct development costs amounted to about 45,000 euros.
