According to the Education Ministry, these funds will be allocated to 20 public institutions working in the field of research and innovation. The budget will be distributed according to the following methodology: basic financing – 491 million lei, additional financing – 33.5 million lei and compensatory financing depending on efficiency – 33.5 million lei.
The State University of Moldova (over 274 million lei), the Technical University (73 million lei), the National Institute for Applied Research in Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine (48 million lei) will receive the biggest financing. depending on the efficiency – 33.5 million lei.
It should be noted that, within the National Program in the field of research and innovation for 2024-2027, the Education Ministry undertook to improve the quality of the research and innovation fields, through investments aimed at the constant modernization of this sector.
