According to Bloomberg, the new token will be issued in partnership with cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com and will run on the Cronos blockchain.
Each security holder will receive one token per share, as well as additional rewards, such as discounts on Trump Media products.
Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG) (which owns Truth Social) is in the business of developing media platforms and content distribution, but recent news shows its dramatic expansion into tech: it is merging with fusion energy startup TAE Technologies and launching fintech brand Truth.Fi.
