Skakodub received a second mandate as FSNTRM president for four years. He has been heading the federation since 2021. Anatol Scacodub is a professional athlete, three times became the Moldovan champion in benchrest shooting (discipline SKEET – shooting on a round stand). He started his sporting activity in 2014 and became a member of FSNTRM in 2018.
The Moldovan Shooting Sport Federation was founded in 1993. Its founder is Vladlen Laiurov. During 32 years of activity FSNTRM was headed by six people (see table). The highest achievement of the pupils of the national school of sport shooting was the silver medal won by Oleg Moldovan in shooting at a moving target with an air rifle from a distance of 10 meters at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney (Australia).
