Romanian investments in Moldova exceeded 35 million euros

This was reported during a meeting between Moldovan Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu and Romanian Foreign Minister Oana-Silvia Tsoiu, held in Chisinau.

It was noted that the Vulcanesti-Chisinau power transmission line connecting Moldova with the Romanian energy system is to be put into operation soon. It was emphasized that Romania, as always, reacted promptly and in solidarity, helping Moldova to maintain the stability of the national electricity system after the intensification of Russian attacks on the infrastructure in Ukraine. At the same time, the progress in the construction of the bridge near Ungheni, aimed at improving the transport connection between Moldova and Romania and at facilitating Moldova’s integration into the European transport network, was highlighted.

The officials discussed cooperation priorities for the coming period, focusing on the continuation of strategic projects and the elaboration of new joint ones. “Moldova-Romania relations are strategic. We continue to count on Romania’s support and solidarity on Moldova’s European path,” Alexandru Munteanu emphasized.
