This will be possible if they become members or partners of the European Network of Employment Services (EURES). The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection has developed a relevant regulation on the organization of companies’ activities within EURES at the national level.
The Ministry emphasizes that the European Network of Employment Services will facilitate the exercise of the right to free movement of workers and strengthen the functioning and integration of labour markets, including across borders. It will promote voluntary geographical and occupational mobility, under fair conditions and in accordance with national and EU law and practice.
According to the project, law firms will be able to act as a EURES partner at the national level if they meet several conditions. Firstly, if they operate on the territory of Moldova with the necessary conditions (space, staff and equipment). Secondly, if they have a functioning website or portal and, if necessary, self-service tools through which jobseekers and employers can access the services offered. In addition, the company must not have debts to employees and the state budget and must not have been subjected in the last two years to criminal sanctions for actions that prejudice the rights of employees in the field of labor relations.
The EURES network will be coordinated at the national level by the National Employment Agency. By January 1, 2028, it must approve the internal administrative procedures necessary for the implementation of the document.
