According to the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development, the National Agency for Road Transport (ANTA) will assume responsibility for road infrastructure safety management. Two new divisions will be created in ANTA with staff dedicated exclusively to road safety.
In addition, ANTA will conduct regular inspections of national and local roads and produce reports on their condition. Road administrators will be required to be guided by the audits in the maintenance and development of roads.
