This was reported by the National Road Transport Agency (ANTA).
“As a result of negotiations held by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development Vladimir Bolya with Minister of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan Rashad Nabi oglu Nabiyev, an additional quota of 300 permits for international road transportation of goods in bilateral and transit mode was obtained,” ANTA said in a press release.
The agency specifies that the permits issued by the Azerbaijani side are valid until January 31, 2026.
Recall that since March 25, 2025, the Russian government has banned transport companies from the Republic of Moldova to carry out cargo transportation on the territory of the Russian Federation. The ban applies to bilateral transportation, transit, as well as transportation from or to the territory of a third state. As a result of these actions, Moldovan transport companies now have to look for bypass routes to deliver cargo to some countries.
