During the meeting, they discussed the main areas of cooperation between the government and UN agencies, as well as priorities for the coming years. It was noted that the new document should take into account the Republic of Moldova’s development priorities and the country’s goals for the upcoming period.

The Prime Minister thanked the UN agencies for their support of the Republic of Moldova, including their contribution to the country’s development, support for reforms, and progress toward European integration.

Special attention was given to continuing cooperation in the area of sustainable development, enhancing the country’s resilience, strengthening state institutions, and improving the quality of public services.

The parties also discussed areas in which cooperation between the government and UN agencies could be expanded. These include support for vulnerable population groups, assistance to refugees, and the use of UN expertise and programs.

Currently, cooperation between the Republic of Moldova and the UN is carried out within the framework of the Framework Program for Cooperation on Sustainable Development for 2023–2027.
