The event will feature products from 40 small wineries across the country that are members of the Association of Small Winemakers.
Small producers are independent wineries that own up to 20 hectares of vineyards and produce no more than 100,000 liters of wine per year. Most often, these are family-run businesses where the winemaker is directly involved in every stage of production: from tending the vineyard and harvesting the grapes to winemaking, bottling, and presenting the wine.
This direct involvement is also one of the defining characteristics of artisanal wine—a product that bears the winemaker’s personal touch, reflecting the terroir and region of its origin, as well as the winemaker’s style. At the same time, small-batch production allows the winemaker to closely monitor each stage and devote more attention to each wine.
Currently, the Association has 65 members, including winemakers, family-run businesses, and independent wineries from various regions of the country. Together, they own more than 500 hectares of vineyards and produce over one million bottles of wine annually, which are exported to 25 countries.
In 2025, the value of exports exceeded $1.17 million, which is nearly double the figure from 2020, when it stood at approximately $606,000.
The association’s members take pride in the awards they have received at specialized competitions both domestically and abroad. Between 2020 and 2025, the Association’s member wineries received a total of 649 medals, and in 2025 alone, they won 110 awards at specialized competitions.
