
The mission will take place on September 8–10 and is organized by the Moldovan Embassy in Austria in cooperation with the Investment Agency, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova, the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (WKO), and the Austrian Federal Ministry of Economy, Energy, and Tourism.
Participants will have the opportunity to establish direct contacts with potential Austrian partners and discuss opportunities for joint projects. Applications for participation are being accepted until August 17.
And in October, Austrian companies will take part in the “Marktchancen Republik Moldau 2026” economic mission, which will be held in Chisinau. The event is organized by the foreign trade division of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce.
Participants will be presented with opportunities for investment, manufacturing, trade, and finding partners in Moldova. The program also includes B2B meetings and networking sessions. The mission will take place as part of the ReFocus Austria initiative. Registration is open until August 30.
According to the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Vienna, there are approximately 100 companies with Austrian capital registered in Moldova. According to Trading Economics, in 2025, trade between Moldova and Austria reached approximately $127 million, of which about $18.8 million came from Moldovan exports to Austria, and $108.2 million from imports of Austrian goods.
