This year, 16 higher education institutions accepted applications, with state universities offering 9,013 state-funded spots.

Applicants had to pay a fee to submit their applications—each university set its own registration fee. At the State University (USM), it was 350 lei; at the Technical University (UTM), 400 lei; at the Academy of Economic Studies (ASEM) — 300 lei, and at the Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy (USMF) — 200 lei. At the Academy of Music, Theater, and Fine Arts, the registration fee was 100 lei. Applicants could apply to three universities simultaneously.

Preliminary admission results will be published on August 8. Applicants who are admitted must confirm their acceptance by submitting original documents between August 8 and 12. Final results will be announced on August 14.

For any unfilled spots, an additional admission session will be held from August 15 to 24.

The cost of tuition for citizens of the Republic of Moldova varies by university and program of study. For example, at USM, tuition this year can reach 18,000 lei; at the Ion Creangă State Pedagogical University, up to 16,000 lei; at ASEM—up to 15,500 lei, at USMF—from 20,000 to 70,000 lei, and at UTM—up to 25,000 lei per year.
