In this regard, the AIPA agency invites interested agricultural producers to verify this information.

A statement on this matter notes that “applicants who have objections regarding specific areas determined as a result of the verification may file substantiated appeals with supporting documents within five business days of the publication of the notice.” If no appeals are filed within the specified time frame, the authorization and financial assistance process will proceed based on the confirmed areas where crops were lost.

Logos Press previously reported that between May 25 and June 22, 2026, the Agency for Agricultural Interventions and Payments (AIPA) received 345 applications from agricultural producers for partial compensation for corn and sunflower crop losses due to the severe drought in 2025. To implement this support measure for farmers, 50 million lei were allocated from the National Fund for Agricultural and Rural Development.
