Gasoline will go up by 10 bani and cost 28.38 lei per liter, while the price of diesel fuel will rise by 39 bani to 26.67 lei per liter.
This is the second such increase in the price of diesel fuel this week. As a result, diesel fuel has become 2 lei and 26 bani more expensive over the past two weeks.
The National Energy Regulatory Authority (NARE) attributes this price increase to ongoing hostilities in the Middle East, which are affecting prices on global markets.
