The mayor of Vilnius said earlier that several large construction companies, including Naresta, Kalvasta, Yit Lietuva, Gilesta, Tilsta (part of the Fegda group) and Hiltus, had responded to his invitation to make a gratuitous contribution to the demolition of the House of Moscow.
In order to create conditions for accelerating the demolition of the House of Moscow, a proposal for legislative amendments has been registered in the Seimas, according to which public institutions could accept support not only in the form of services, but also in the form of works.
The building “House of Moscow” belongs to the “Moscow Cultural and Business Center “House of Moscow”, 75% of shares of which are owned by shareholders from Moscow.
According to the mayor, the land plot at the intersection in the center of the capital will be transferred to the Ukrainian religious community, and verbal agreements have already been reached on this issue.
