Instead of Sharamet, the leadership of the institution was taken over by Andrei Cheban, who was appointed AAC director by the government’s decision.
Prior to this appointment, Cheban held technical and administrative positions in the civil aviation sector, being a recognized professional in this field.
Vasile Charamet was appointed director of the Civil Aviation Authority in August 2024. He has been working in the institution since 2016. He came to this position from the legal sector – he was a lawyer in the Moldovan Parliament.
