
Polish border guards examined the documentation of 131 foreigners in the audited company. In 58 cases it turned out that the employer had assigned these employees to tasks that did not comply with the terms of the contract and work permits issued. In addition, the employer did not submit copies of the contracts to the relevant authority before allowing the foreigners to work.
A petition to the court will be filed against the chairman of the board of directors of the company, a Polish citizen. The illegal assignment of work to foreigners in Poland faces a fine of 3,000 to 50,000 zlotys (709,000 to 11,800 euros), Straz Graniczna reported.
