“For Romania, 20 years as part of the European Union meant modernization and, above all, an increase in living standards. The average salary has tripled and reached 80% of the average salary in the EU,” Nicusor Dan said.

He added that during these 20 years, Romania paid 36 billion euros and received 110 billion, which means that the difference is 74 billion euros of net benefit for Romania during this period.
