In Chisinau municipality, the connection of consumers was carried out step by step, by restoring power supply to 10 kV feeders. At present, the power grids are functioning stably, without consumption restrictions.

“At the moment, the National Electricity System operates in normal parameters, electricity consumption is within the forecast values, there is no need to purchase emergency electricity,” assured Energy Minister Dorin Jungietu.

We shall remind you that on Saturday morning, January 31, there was a large-scale blackout in Moldova, caused by serious problems in the Ukrainian energy system. There was a voltage drop on the 400 kV Isaccea-Vulcanesti-MGRES line, which led to its damage and disconnection. It took almost five hours to eliminate the consequences.
