In addition to delegates from EPPO member states, representatives from the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety (DG SANTE) also participated in the forum.

The participation of the Republic of Moldova’s delegation in the EPPO meeting was part of the process of adopting best European practices for evaluating technical dossiers and granting authorizations for the use of plant protection products.

The Republic of Moldova has been a member of EPPO since 2006. Within this organization, the ANSA agency holds the status of National Plant Protection Organization (NPPO) and serves as the country’s official contact point within EPPO.
