In Denmark, citizens have been urged not to drive

The head of the ministry, quoted by DR TV and Radio Company, said:

– If there is any energy consumption that you can do without, unless there is an extreme need to drive, don’t do it.

He noted that such a thing will have a positive impact on consumers’ wallets and will help Denmark to spend its reserves more efficiently over a longer period of time.

Meanwhile, Iran said oil could rise to $200 a barrel if the U.S. and Israel don’t stop attacking Iran.

A spokesman for the Iranian Armed Forces’ central headquarters Khatam al-Anbia, quoted by Iran’s Al Alam TV channel, said in a statement to the U.S. leadership:

“Expect oil prices of $200 soon. You will not be able to save the oil market by resorting to artificial measures.”

During today’s trading, the price of Brent was above the $100 per barrel mark. The current price is around $96.61 per barrel.
