Grosu: “Fuel reserves in Moldova exceed the pre-war level. There is also enough kerosene”

Moldova's current fuel reserves, which cover the needs for 14-15 days, exceed the pre-war level. This was announced by Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu after discussions with the leadership of the National Energy Regulatory Agency.

According to him, some oil companies import fuel on their own, while others buy it from these importers, mainly from Romania. “There are stocks, and they are enough,” the speaker said.

He urged the public not to panic.

“If someone arrives, for example, with a tank for 10 tons, he is obliged to issue this amount – it is impossible to refuse. At this point, fuel may temporarily run out. Therefore, the request is not to panic. Imports continue,” Grosu added.

The speaker also assured that the country has enough kerosene for the needs of aviation.

“You have seen that we returned the critical strategic airport infrastructure to the state on time. And can you imagine what would have happened if we had not done so?”, – Igor Grosu asked a rhetorical question.
