In 2023, Moldova produced about 1.4 million liters of divines, in 2024 the production exceeded 5.3 million liters, while last year the volume reached 9.4 million liters, the ministry specified.

The agency explains that this dynamics was influenced by several factors: climatic conditions, production capacity growth, excise tax policy and consumer preferences.

Last year, Moldova exported more than 2.3 million liters of divines. And in four years (from 2022 to 2025), exports of these drinks will exceed 8 million liters.

The main markets are Ukraine, Romania, Belarus, France, Russia, Estonia and the USA.

Over the four years, the budget received more than 1.16 billion lei from the sale of Moldovan divines and other strong alcoholic beverages.
