
The meetings will focus on topics of particular interest to our compatriots: the conditions for the appointment and payment of pensions and other social benefits, the rules for receiving child benefits, as well as explanations regarding the recognition of social rights for periods of employment carried out in Spain.
The program of the visit includes meetings in several cities, including Barcelona, Tarragona, Madrid, Pamplona and Santander. For the efficient organization of the events, the NCSS has provided an online registration form.
The Social Security Agreement between the Republic of Moldova and the Kingdom of Spain, signed in Madrid on July 21, 2022, entered into force on June 1, 2024. The document establishes an essential framework for the social protection of Moldovan citizens who have worked or are working in Spain, granting them the right to receive retirement, disability or survivor pensions. Each state will calculate and pay pensions in proportion to the insurance periods accumulated on its territory.
