The management of the Agency of Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre encourages business representatives to participate in this important process for all stakeholders, as their opinion is of basic importance for determining an accurate valuation in the new system. The stage is necessary to identify and correct inconsistencies in the cadastral system.
Ivan Dani, Director General of the Agency of Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre, told Logos Press. He emphasizes that such public consultation with owners is undertaken for the first time in Moldova, in order to make the process transparent and democratic.
Technical parameters can still be adjusted
After examining the appeals received, the agency will send official notifications on the final cadastral value of the objects, as well as the adjustments, if any, made in accordance with the appeals received.
After that, citizens and companies are given a month for another possible adjustment, but only of technical parameters, not the valuation as a whole. “With this stage, we plan to finish the consultation process by October 29-30 this year to have time to hand over the database to the State Tax Service,” says Ivan Dani. – From January 1, 2027, all real estate objects must have a new final cadastral valuation”.
If even after the second stage of inspection a citizen or a company does not agree with the technical parameters or assessment, he has the right to appeal to the court. The Director of the Agency emphasizes that on the website of the agency real estate owners can check and send a message about their disagreement at any time.
The cost has tripled on average
Many parameters of objects were registered in accordance with the initial assessment. But over time they could change, improve due to repairs, including roads, water supply, sewerage, gas, extensions, etc. All this should be reflected in the value.
In the country as a whole, the value of real estate objects has increased on average three times, Ivan Dani specified.
According to the legislation, from now on revaluation will have to be carried out every three years.
