Authorities Are Changing Their Approach to Family Protection

The Ministry of Education and Research is developing a Concept for the Development of a National Parent Education Ecosystem. This initiative essentially represents a reform in the area of family support. It involves a radical shift from fragmented and isolated programs to a unified, modern, and sustainable state system.

The new concept is designed to consolidate, modernize, and expand support and counseling services for parents based on the principles of “positive parenting.” The main change in this approach lies in close collaboration among all key agencies. Instead of one-time assistance or sporadic courses, parents will receive comprehensive support from the government that integrates education, social protection, and healthcare.

At this stage, the agencies have already conducted a comprehensive analysis of available resources. The main conclusion: the success of protecting children’s rights directly depends on a unified vision of parental education across all government agencies.

The draft order on developing the concept aims to establish standard consultation procedures. Proposals are being accepted until July 8.
