The auction was held on May 7, organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of RM.
At the three open auctions 21 lots were realized. It should be noted that by the decision of the auction committee, some of the bids were withdrawn from the auction due to the lack of bids. They will be offered at future auctions.
Among the lots put up for sale prevailed kiosks with an area of 10 square meters for the sale of periodicals and related goods. In addition, offered lots for the placement of kiosks for the trade of drinking water, fruit and vegetable products, coffee, ice cream and baked goods. The auction step was 10% of the initial amount of the lot, the same percentage is set for the down payment. The term of the contract for the right to sell from mobile trade objects is 5 years.
Basically, the bidding was limited to one auction step, after which the participant was recognized as the winner. This indicates a low interest in the facilities.
Within 20 days, the winners of the auction must pay the full amount for the lot, minus the deposit. Those who were unlucky in the bidding process, the deposit is refunded within 10 days from the date of application.
The fee for participation in one auction is 1500 lei. If a bidder is interested in several lots, he/she pays the participation fee for each lot separately. This rule is established to prevent monopolization of street trade. Also, in order to comply with the conditions of a healthy competitive environment, a participant is not entitled to win more than three lots within one auction and to receive more than one plot in each park, public garden, alley.
If a bidder intends to participate in the auction for several lots, he/she shall pay a deposit for each of them.
