Such amendments to the Tax Code and the Law on Personal Data Protection are promoted by PCRM MPs.
The draft law provides for the possibility for individuals engaged in independent activity to use a separate fiscal code that does not coincide with their personal identification number (IDNP). This code will be used in all documentation of such persons, including in the formation of fiscal checks.
Today, IDNPs are printed on fiscal cheques, which is an unjustified disclosure of personal data – it violates the right to privacy.
The project assumes that a single fiscal code will be issued by the State Tax Service, at the request of a taxpayer who registers an independent activity. The single taxpayer’s number and name will be printed on the fiscal receipt.
A similar mechanism applies to representatives of free professions.
