To Alexandru Munteanu
“We are looking for honest, competent, and courageous people who will not defend personal or group interests and will not engage in settling scores. We need professionals who are ready to defend the state’s interests and public funds,” the prime minister said.
He clarified that this is not a traditional open competition, but rather an internal selection process during which candidates’ resumes will be thoroughly reviewed:
“As I understand it, the Prime Minister has the prerogative and the right to form his own team, and we invite those who believe they can contribute to this process to send us their resumes. We will review them collectively and select candidates who meet our requirements; all details will be published on the government’s official website.”
Munteanu emphasized that the state must correct its mistakes and deliver results without making unnecessary excuses.
“The state does not need explanations for its mistakes. We must correct them and deliver results. This is the standard we will apply to the entire government and all state institutions,” the prime minister stated.
Members of the Prime Minister’s Control Service resigned on June 24, 2026. These include Vasile Bolduratu and Angela Rozhkov-Chofu, who had held these positions since July 2023. The resignations followed the official resignation of Dumitru Vangeli, director of the State Enterprise for Airspace Utilization and Air Traffic Management “MoldATSA.”
