
This initiative is part of the 2022–2025 assistance package aimed at strengthening the National Army’s mobility and transportation capabilities, implemented with the support of the European Union through the European Peace Fund (EPF).
The total cost of the project exceeds 50 million euros and is funded by a grant from the European Union.
Deliveries of equipment are scheduled to continue through May 2027.
“During a meeting with representatives of the contractor, Defense Minister Anatolie Nosaty expressed his gratitude for their efficiency and transparency, emphasizing the importance of the European Union’s consistent support in strengthening the Republic of Moldova’s defense capabilities,” the Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
