The competition, held on the Pitch Studio Stage in Paris as part of the 10th anniversary edition of VivaTech from June 17–20, brought together founders, innovation experts, and ecosystem leaders to explore new technologies addressing global challenges in fields such as artificial intelligence, healthcare, cybersecurity, climate technology, industrial automation, edtech, and the circular economy.

The nine startups selected through national competitions and ecosystem partnership programs are SELFTALK, LyricFluent, and Oto from Moldova; Denovo Sciences, MedPair, and TACTUN from Armenia; and SEC-TA, Z1RO, and Hydratico from Ukraine.

More about the Moldovan participants.

Selftalk.space—helps growing companies scale team productivity as their organizations expand or transform.

LyricFluent—turns licensed song lyrics into an engaging language-learning experience. It’s a mix of Duolingo and Spotify.

Based on the jury’s evaluation, first place was awarded to Hydratico (Ukraine), a climate tech startup developing breakthrough supercavitation technology for energy-efficient desalination and industrial wastewater treatment.

Second place went to MedPair (Armenia), a medical technology platform that improves communication between patients and doctors, as well as clinical workflows.

Third place went to Oto (Moldova), a digital solution that helps food service businesses improve customer service through QR codes for ordering and multilingual digital menus.
