As a reminder, the Republic of Moldova’s Classification of Occupations is a regulatory document intended for use by employers when entering into contracts with employees.

It contains a list of legally approved occupations and positions, along with descriptions of their pay-grade and qualification characteristics, the scope of their duties and tasks, and the requirements for employee training.

Thus, when hiring employees, employers must follow the provisions of the documents establishing three new professional standards: “Marketing Specialist,”  “Event Planning Assistant,” and “Business Planning and Administration Specialist.”

Representatives from the academic community, public authorities, and the business sector were involved in the development of these professional standards.

These newly recognized professions reflect the changes that have taken place in the structure of the Moldovan economy in recent years and will facilitate employers’ activities within the framework of the law.
