Over 15 years, the government has allocated 218 million lei to reintegration projects

Within the framework of the country's reintegration policy, 15 government programs were implemented in 2011-2025, which allowed financing 616 projects worth over 218 million lei. On Wednesday, June 3, the government approved a new one-year program with a budget of 25 million lei and a list of new projects.

Thirty community and regional development projects and initiatives will receive funding through the 2026 Country Reintegration Action Program,

The program provides funding for investments aimed at modernizing educational, health, cultural and sports facilities, as well as measures to strengthen community resilience and energy efficiency.

Among the projects to improve educational infrastructure: repair of the roof of the Theoretical Lyceum named after Lucian Blaga in Tiraspol. Lucian Blaga theoretical lyceum in Tiraspol; purchase of two transportation units for pupils; renovation of the canteen of the Stefan cel Mare gymnasium in Tiraspol. Stefan cel Mare gymnasium in the village of Molovata, Dubasari district; repair of sanitary blocks in kindergarten No. 5 in Rezina, etc. In addition, a number of projects are aimed at repairing social facilities: restoration of the heating system in the Center for Temporary Accommodation of the Elderly and People with Disabilities in Cocieri commune; purchase of equipment for the Health Center in Rezina town; repair of the office of doctors’ families in Rezina town. Rezina; renovation of the office of family doctors in Dorotcaia village and other projects.

As Logos Press has already written, an important component of the program is the allocation of 3 million lei to the Dubasari district council. This amount is intended to partially compensate the expenses of farmers who own agricultural lands located behind the Ribnita-Tiraspol highway and have to pay fees when crossing checkpoints.
