Moldovan Embassy in Qatar engaged in cultural diplomacy

The Moldovan Embassy in Doha, Qatar, recently hosted an exhibition entitled "Art, Fashion and Cultural Diplomacy (AFCD)", which featured about 100 works dedicated to Europe Day and the 2026 World Hat Procession.

The exhibition was visited by Moldovan Ambassador Iulian Grigorica, ambassadors from Romania, Kazakhstan, Vietnam, Ukraine and Central Africa, AFCD founder and patron Farhan al-Sheikh al-Sayed and the organization’s Secretary General Rodica Grigorica. The opening was also attended by the heads of diplomatic missions of Albania and Honduras, gulf-times.com reported.

A fashion show was held in which models and guests displayed handmade hats made by AFCD members in honor of the 2026 World Hat Procession.

A live music concert featured renowned artists Giorgio Martin and Anca Martin.

The AFCD group has about 50 members, including ambassadors, spouses of ambassadors, diplomats and their children.
