
Now, in addition to citizens of the Republic of Moldova, citizens of EU and Schengen states, refugees, stateless persons, as well as foreigners with at least one parent who is a Moldovan citizen will be able to participate in the contest.
Also, up to 1% of budgetary places can be reserved for special categories. There are quotas of 15% for persons from vulnerable groups, 25% for pedagogical specialties and 25% for nursing specialties.
The regulations also clarify the procedure for training gymnasium graduates in adapted programs: they will be able to continue their studies in vocational programs lasting two years, including dual education.
Special attention is paid to students with severe disabilities. Educational institutions will cooperate more closely with psychological and pedagogical support services, local authorities and social services in order to find the most appropriate learning and integration solutions.
The applicant will only be able to apply to one institution. The application package will include: application form, identity card, education document, photograph and proof of payment of the application fee.
According to the authorities, the new measures aim to make vocational education more accessible, flexible and better adapted to the needs of students and the labor market.
